The Pullens Festival took place on 30th August 2014 in a historic Pullens Gardens.
This was a conscious community event with aim to celebrate diversity of local talents and use more the very much abundant gardens.
We were really pleased to welcome visitors from and around the Pullens and to have support of Southwark Council and their representatives.
Music acts included many super talented local artists: Dream Machine, Champignon, Damidge, The Clarkes, DJ Zero Central.
Kathak Dance set by Jill Newman was delightful!
We were very pleased to host the Pullens Promenade Theatre written specially for this occasion by local writer Ness Lyons.
Workshops included: Wishing Poetree Newspaper Sculpture Clothes swap. Stall included: L’Atelier by Lina Brooker, Bee Urban, Fareshares…
As Pullens Gardens has been awarded some regeneration funding we are looking forward working with them and other residents on this. Public consultation will start soon so watch for posters.
