Kids Gardening Club ~ Saturday 13th September 2014
We meet at the Bee Urban in Kennington park where we had tour of the garden and beehives. We were fascinated to learn about different kinds of tomatoes and delighted to see black tomato growing! The kiwi vine was impressive too and the living roof with windows built out of honey jars.
Back at Crampton street our barrel garden we meet few more members for some action: tomato picking, watering, bug hunting and beautifying 🙂
We gladly shared tea and cake!
Big thanks to everyone who came and helped – it was lovely, productive day!
Next session is planed for 11th October -weather pending.
Plan: to put bird boxes up the tree and possibly starting to build a bug hotel.. Any expert help (with tools especially) more then welcomed!
Crampton street – 3pm.
